Audi Downtown Vancouver is currently looking to fill the position of a Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring the employees and activities of the Sales Department. They will oversee training programs for both new and used car sales teams, personally delivering training or assigning a qualified sales leader as needed. The Sales Manager will also handle all administrative duties related to the New and Pre-Owned Car Departments, as well as additional tasks assigned by the General Manager.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist the General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the New / Used Car Department.
  • Assist the General Sales Manager in planning programs that will aid each salesperson in reaching his/her objectives.
  • Oversee pricing, reconditioning, and merchandising of pre-owned inventory, both online and on-site.
  • Hire, train, coach, and supervise sales team
  • Manage daily showroom operations, including floor traffic and customer engagement strategy
  • Assist sales representatives with closing deals, and support active follow-up processes
  • Conduct daily one-on-one coaching sessions and weekly sales training meetings
  • Desk deals, conduct trade appraisals, and ensure complete and accurate deal files
  • Monitor individual and team sales performance against volume and gross targets
  • Ensure CRM systems (180, AutoAlert,SM360) are used consistently for all lead follow-ups and customer communications
  • Maintain showroom and lot presentation to OEM and dealership standards
  • Work closely with the Service team to approve reconditioning work for internal vehicles
  • Collaborate with F&I team to maximize finance, warranty, and product penetration
  • Review lease portfolios and manage lease-end renewals to retain existing customers
  • Recommend inventory levels and vehicle mix based on market demand and sales trends
  • Ensure completion of all OEM-mandated training and compliance with dealership policies
  • Coordinate with Service, Parts, and Business Office for seamless customer experience
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, supporting a customer-first culture
  • Work with OEM reps, General Manager, and Marketing to support campaigns and VIP Events
  • Participate in dealership events, loyalty programs, and cross-brand luxury initiatives
  • Recommend for dismissal any salesperson failing to meet company standards and policies.
  • Coordinate with other Sales Managers in programs that will enhance his own personal and professional development.
  • Maintain full compliance with all VSA regulations and reporting requirements.

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive Sales Manager role required.
  • Proven ability to manage both new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
  • Valid VSA License is mandatory
