The Command Centre Technician will prepare the pre-production environment, deploy, configure and put into production various IT devices for client projects. The Technician will provide next-day support to end users, ensuring all devices are fully functional. The Technician will also perform high level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for service interruption, providing disaster recovery service for fast resolutions.

- Perform remote server/virtual machine (Linux/Windows) configuration along with VMware ESXi, cloud, VxRail environment operations for various customer projects
- Utilize remote desktop controls with various software solutions for hardware and software deployment projects
- Participate in next day support for end-users and on-site Technicians
- Document issues and problem resolutions undertaken; establish and maintain problem reporting and maintain technical documentation
- Ongoing troubleshooting with various IT systems, applying software repairs and corrections where required
- Provide remote second level support to on-site Deployment Technicians
- Run health checks for various customer IT systems including servers, storage devices, printers, workstations, mobile devices, etc.
- Proactively identify potential issues and escalate to Management promptly
- Ensure all incidents are properly logged, triaged, routed, escalated and closed in alignment with SLAs
- Provide responsive, timely support to all escalated end-user questions and support requests
- Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages
- Remotely configure computers, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware
- Perform complex problem determination and resolution identifying hardware and software problems
- Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant discipline
- 3+ years of SCCM deployment experience and knowledge of enterprise upgrades
- 3+ years of experience with VMWare, Linux, Windows OS and storage devices
- Working and advanced operating knowledge of IT hardware/equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting and support
- Must possess strong customer service attitude and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability, willingness and availability to work rotating shifts including evenings, nights and weekends
