Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This role is critical in managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless collaboration, security, and productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate requires expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, and related collaboration tools, and a passion for delivering exceptional support and service with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • MS 365 Administration:
    • Manage and maintain the global Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
    • Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) and user permissions.
    • Implement and enforce governance, compliance, and security policies across the M365 ecosystem.
    • Monitor system health, usage, and performance, and proactively address issues.
    • Configure and manage Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
    • Develop and enforce device compliance policies and configuration profiles.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot device enrollment and compliance issues.
    • Manage application deployment and updates for mobile devices.
  • Level 1-3 Support:
    • Serve as the contact point for all M365-related incidents and other service requests through Jira.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to identity, access, mail flow, Teams collaboration, and device management.
    • Collaborate with internal support teams and external vendors to resolve critical incidents.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and bulk operations.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
  • Project Involvement:
    • Lead or support M365-related projects, including migrations, integrations, and feature rollouts.
    • Provide technical guidance and best practices to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and support materials.
    • Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT support teams and end-users.
  • IT Operations:
    • Monitor and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring proper tracking and lifecycle management of hardware and software.
    • Work with IT team members to ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
    • Support IT projects, including software rollouts, system upgrades, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in a Microsoft 365 administration role.
  • Proven experience handling Level 3 support tickets in a global enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Microsoft Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
    • Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access
    • Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
    • PowerShell scripting
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
