Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner / Building Superintendent

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Superintendent for a condominium property in Bolton to join our team. This role combines maintenance, repair, and heavy-duty cleaning responsibilities to ensure the property's safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.

• Repair major and minor issues with building equipment and infrastructure.

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely and professional manner.

• Order, replace, and install broken parts or equipment as needed.

• Ensure all mechanical systems and equipment are in good working order.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Heavy Duty Cleaning (Daily or as required)

• Vacuum all mats and carpets.

• Wipe down walls and accessible surfaces.

• Clean all accessible windows, mirrors, and glass.

• Sweep and mop all lobby and high-traffic areas.

• Clean and disinfect washrooms, damp mop floors, wipe doors and frames, and replenish paper products and soap.

• Inspect and clean the gym area: clean mirrors, remove garbage, vacuum floors, and dust all surfaces.

• Inspect and clean the pet room as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance, janitorial services, or a related field.

• Strong familiarity with hand tools, cleaning equipment, and maintenance machinery.

• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning and safety standards.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Work Conditions:

• Primarily on-site role with physical duties, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

• May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies or special projects.
