THE ROLE

We're on the hunt for a Junior Social Media Manager (Editorial) to join our Toronto office—someone who lives and breathes the internet and wants to help shape some of the country's biggest brands on social.

You're probably the friend who's always dropping the best memes in the group chat, sending TikToks before they go viral, and knows how to create a lofi video that actually makes people stop scrolling. That's the energy we're looking for.

In this role, you'll be in the feeds daily—spotting trends before they peak, identifying opportunities to jump into conversations, and suggesting smart, culturally relevant content and engagements. Whether it's recommending a reactive post idea, moderating comments in a brand's tone of voice, or pitching a weird-but-perfect moment for community engagement, you'll be right in the thick of it.

You'll be a key part of our Editorial team—a fast-moving, social-first crew who write, edit, moderate, and ideate at the speed of culture. We're not ad copywriters; we're strategists, writers, creators and social media managers who know how to entertain, engage, and grow communities online.

You'll be working across multiple brands with loads of creative potential—so if you've got a passion for social, an eye for trends, and the confidence to try new things, this is your chance to get stuck in and make work that people actually talk about.

WE ARE

A creative agency powered by social connections. That means we thrive on what's trending and creating campaigns that get people buzzing. We call it “Ideas Worth Talking About,” and we're proud to have played a part in some of the most culturally relevant campaigns of the decade for brands like McDonald's, Adidas, Universal Studios, and YouTube.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE

  • We like to laugh, we live for celeb gossip and we're great on AUX.
  • Our passport program lets you explore and work from one of our 18 other offices worldwide, including Paris, Singapore, Madrid, Dubai, London and more!
  • You best believe we know how to celebrate our wins. And our losses (it's how we learn).
  • From carbon offsets to community kitchens, we're passionate about making a difference.
  • Did we say snacks? Because we have great snacks.

YOU ARE

  • A person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively
  • Not interested in just following trends – you want to create them
  • A self-starter, who'll take ideas from concept to execution, navigating feedback like a pro

Traditional agency experience is not required, but it's a plus. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, you'll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, you'll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzzworthy ideas for some of the world's leading brands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help craft daily content that people actually want to see in their feeds, with a focus on lofi formats like short-form video trends and memes
  • Surface real-time moments and trend opportunities worth jumping on
  • Write smart, funny, culturally relevant community engagements that reflect each brand's voice
  • Moderate community conversations and find meaningful ways to engage audiences
  • Stay curious, pitch weird ideas, and be ready to experiment
  • Grow your own editorial style and creative voice with the support of a tight team

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

  • 1–2 years experience working in social media, content creation, or community management (agency or brand-side–or even building your own platform)
  • A deep love for internet culture and an understanding of what makes content work on different platforms
  • Good short-form video editing skills–you know how to edit short-form videos in social media apps and in editing platforms.
  • A nose for trends and real-time moments, and the confidence to flag them internally or build content ideas around them
  • Experience engaging with online communities—whether that's moderating comments, DMing with followers, or stirring up conversation in the comments section
  • Willingness to flow between multiple roles within the Editorial department, across content creation, community engagement, and content writing

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience creating short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
  • Have a side hustle or social account that shows off your creative chops
  • Are familiar with social scheduling tools (e.g. Sprout, Later, Dash Hudson) and engagement platforms
  • Are Bilingual (FR/ENG)
  • Can speak fluent emoji
