Job Summary:

The Warehouse Labourer plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, tools, and equipment through our warehouse and to job sites. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of parts, tools, equipment, and materials
• Pick, pack, and stage materials and tools for outgoing jobs and field staff
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks, verifying accuracy of deliveries and shipments
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
• Track and report damaged or missing inventory and assist with returns
• Assist with deliveries to job sites as needed (valid drivers license may be required)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support service technicians and site crews with tool/material requests
• Help coordinate equipment rentals and returns with vendors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a construction, plumbing, or HVAC environment
• Valid G drivers license & clean driving abstract
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in varying temperatures
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and documentation
• A team player with a strong work ethic and dependable attitude

Work Environment:

• Primarily based in the warehouse, with occasional outdoor work and deliveries
• Use of power tools, ladders, and material handling equipment required
• PPE must be worn as required
