We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client's emergency response support team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring critical supplies are managed, organized, and delivered efficiently to meet urgent needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings strong problem-solving skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to support daily warehouse operations.
- Handle order fulfillment by moving, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, completing timely reporting of counts and order requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate supply needs and prioritize urgent requests.
- Operate pallet jacks to safely move goods within the warehouse.
- Inspect and verify labels for accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Assist with general warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move goods safely.
- A valid standard driver's license and ability to drive within the city is considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Own steel toe boots
Contract Details
- Full-time hours (8 hours/day) within the 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. window.
- Contract runs until end of August 2025, with potential for extension.
- Work is on-site in Winnipeg, MB.
