Equipment Operator (Forklift / Telehandler)

Were hiring skilled Equipment Operators (Forklift and/or Telehandler) on behalf of our client in the construction industry. If you have solid seat time, know how to move materials safely on a busy site, and are a team player with a safety-first mindset, we want to hear from you.

• Operate forklifts or telehandlers to transport pallets, bundles, and materials to crews

• Load and unload trucks, stack supplies, and ensure site pathways are clear

• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks: fluids, forks, tires, lights, etc.

• Assist with basic labour tasks when equipment is not in use

• Work with site supervisors to plan safe routes and lifting operations

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain clear communication with spotters and ground crews

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts or telehandlers (both preferred)

• Valid operator ticket is ideal; if yours is expired or you have hands-on experience but no certification, training may be provided

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions

• Full PPE required: hard hat, steel-toe boots, high-vis vest, gloves, and eye/ear protection

• Strong awareness of surroundings, with a team-oriented and safety-conscious approach

• Starting at $26/hour, with higher rates for dual-ticket operators or high-reach experience

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift

• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs
