• Landscape Construction Laborer

Job Duties:

• ‪Assist and support team members to complete their tasks
• ‪Operate various tools and equipment, including: saws, tampers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
• ‪Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis. Assist in the construction of walkways, patios fences, decks, posts, etc. Plant and sod lawns, garden beds etc. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects. Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Comply with all company policies and regulations. Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.

‪ Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in the landscape/construction industry. Knowledge of interlock, retaining walls, flagstone, excavators, skid steers, etc.
• Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
• Punctual, dependable and motivated
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks (lift a minimum of 50lbs) Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
