is looking for a Parts Manager!

The Role:

The Parts Manager is the leader of the Parts Team and their primary objective is to motivate, encourage, and inspire their team and parts department. The Parts Manager is responsible for deeply understanding costumer needs and should be able to provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction to all customers, both internal and external.

Job Duties:

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and exceed their expectations.
  • Maintain proper parts inventory levels.
  • Prepare an annual operating budget, goals, and objectives for the Parts Department and monitor the department's performance.
  • Responsible for onboarding, training, and development of Parts Department.
  • Coordinate & ensure the availability of parts.
  • Create and maintain a positive relationship with customers and focus on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Work directly with warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understand and apply warranty guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of parts pricing procedures.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
  • Report performance goals and achievements regularly.
  • Responsible for inspecting each part received for accuracy, proper pricing, and damage.
  • Perform assigned duties safely and responsibly that do not expose yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury.
  • Review the previous month's sales/profit to determine where improvements can be made.

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, automotive management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using dealership management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
