Position: Journeyman & Apprentice Boilermakers Turnaround (Fort Saskatchewan, AB)
We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB starting September 2, 2025.
Project Details:
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Start Date: September 2, 2025
Qualifications & Education:
- Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Boilermaking
- Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, Fall Protection
- Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP), First Aid
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing
Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, with expertise in essential Boilermaker tasks including blinding/deblinding equipment, pulling and installing exchanger bundles, rigging, hoisting, and hydro testing.
- Perform internal vessel work, maintaining full compliance with industry safety standards, and ensure adherence to Canocos safety protocols and client-specific requirements.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making situations, with effective communication and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Take initiative in contributing to the development and implementation of a training program for Boilermaker roles, with ongoing opportunities to participate in and support additional training initiatives.
