Location: Coquitlam, BC
Salary- $56,000 - $65000/ yearly

Overview: We are looking for a Proposal & Content Writer who will not only craft compelling proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, but also support our broader communications strategy. This role blends content writing, market research, subject matter collaboration, and brand stewardship.

You'll be part of a passionate and collaborative marketing and sales team, helping us expand into new industries and strengthen our voice across multiple channels — from newsletters to blogs to award applications.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development

  • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to create persuasive and strategic proposal content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales, operations, and vendors to gather relevant input
  • Highlight value-add propositions that reflect our unique service offerings
  • Edit, proofread, format, and finalize proposal documents in line with brand and client expectations
  • Track deadlines and coordinate proposal efforts across internal teams

Content Creation & Communication Support

  • Research bid platforms and stay informed on upcoming opportunities in our target markets
  • Create foundational industry-specific content for different verticals we serve
  • Write and review internal and external communications such as blog posts, award submissions, newsletter content, and social media captions
  • Work with internal stakeholders to keep content up to date, consistent, and aligned with the brand voice
  • Provide general proofreading support across communication channels

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Engage regularly with subject matter experts and department leads for accurate, relevant information
  • Ensure content reflects a consistent and compelling tone across platforms
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives with clear, engaging, and strategic writing
  • Perform administrative duties related to sales and communications as needed

Skills Required:

  • Ability to read, review, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong leadership ability
  • Intrinsic ability to effectively analyze, plan, prioritize, negotiate, and execute business strategies.

Education & Experience:

  • Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, English or other related fields
  • 2-4 years work experience in a similar role
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check
