Overview
We are seeking a results-driven, strategic B2B Sales Executive to proactively secure new business opportunities and national accounts. This role is focused on hunting and acquisition. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, engaging with executive-level decision-makers, and delivering high-impact signage solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Aggressively identify, pursue, and close new business with mid- to large-size companies across North America.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers (Directors, VPs, Project Managers) to position JD Sign Group as a strategic signage partner.
- Drive outbound sales activity and utilize CRM tools to manage and report pipeline status.
Strategic Selling
- Understand clients' branding, architectural, and operational needs to present tailored signage solutions.
- Lead consultative sales conversations and guide clients through complex decision-making processes.
Proposal and Presentation Development
- Collaborate with design, estimating, and project teams to prepare compelling, customized proposals.
- Present strategic solutions that support clients long-term goals and brand integrity.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, design teams, and production to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to execution phases.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze trends in signage, construction trades, and design to position JD Sign Group competitively.
- Actively participate in trade shows and industry networking events to increase visibility and build a prospect base.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience in signage, architectural elements, construction finishing trades, or trade show fabrication.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding national sales targets.
- 1+ year of experience specifically in signage, graphics, or display solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
