Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on data analytics, customer data management, and the execution of marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, be confident working with customer data and leveraging insights to optimize strategies and bring a creative edge to content development. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams to support a variety of campaigns and projects that drive engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced Excel expertise to develop reports, perform data analysis, and monitor key marketing metrics
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement
- Manage and maintain CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data
- Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to optimize marketing strategies
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital and print initiatives
- Design and edit marketing materials using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Write and edit engaging content across multiple marketing channels
- Coordinate and oversee marketing projects, ensuring deadlines and brand consistency are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the execution of calendar programs
- Assist in organizing events and trade shows
Required Experience and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing-focused role
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience or training will also be considered
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is an asset) and data management
- Experience with email management platforms (Constant Contact experience is an asset)
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Excellent English spelling and grammar skills with strong attention to tone and clarity
- Strong organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience and skill level.
Work Schedule & Location: This is an in-office role, Monday to Friday, located in Richmond, BC.
