Licensed Property Manager
Top Duties & Responsibilities:
Property Oversight & Maintenance
- Manage day-to-day operations of residential and/or commercial rental properties
- Schedule and supervise repairs, maintenance, and property inspections
- Ensure all properties comply with local safety, health, and housing standards
Tenant Management
- Market vacant properties and screen prospective tenants
- Prepare, negotiate, and enforce lease agreements
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally
Financial Management
- Collect rent, late fees, and other receivables
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular reports to property owners
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Saskatchewan Residential Tenancies Act and SREC guidelines
- Serve notices for rent increases, terminations, and lease violations
- Represent property owners at residential tenancy hearings, if necessary
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain detailed records of property transactions, lease agreements, and tenant communications
- Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections and documentation
- Manage service contracts with vendors (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, security)
Owner & Stakeholder Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for property owners
- Provide regular updates on occupancy, maintenance, and financial performance
- Offer strategic recommendations to maximize property value and ROI
