Service Supervisor Coop/Intern (September - December)

The Student Events Intern delivers friendly, efficient customer service and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and clients, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.

Opportunities will include:
  • Ensuring all guests have a memorable experience through event execution
  • Support the set up and service team with the execution of events
  • Respond to guest and staff inquiries
  • Assist with scheduling and supervising event staff
  • Attend BEO meetings and assist with day of logistics
  • Encourage guest feedback and track event outcomes
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform opening/closing duties and general event support
  • Represent the Carmens Group brand at all times

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in Special Event Management or comparable program
  • Previous experience in hospitality an asset
  • High level attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Working evenings and weekends to meet business needs as required
  • Smart Serve Certified
