We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our IT team and drive the strategic and operational management of our cloud-based technology ecosystem. In this role, you will oversee all IT initiatives, ensuring the seamless administration, optimization, and scaling of our cloud services, including SaaS applications and IaaS/PaaS platforms such as AWS and Azure. This position offers the opportunity to shape IT strategy in a rapidly growing organization while providing hands-on leadership and execution.

As an IT Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning IT strategy with business goals, managing resources effectively, and driving modernization efforts to ensure our technology environment meets the demands of a scaling company. This is a role that requires a mix of technical expertise, project management, and leadership skills, with a strong emphasis on leveraging cloud technologies.

In addition to the duties typically expected of a senior IT leader, key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of cloud services, including SaaS applications, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead IT projects from planning through execution, including infrastructure upgrades, security enhancements, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of all cloud and network infrastructure, implementing best practices and security protocols.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation, integration, and cloud-based tools.
  • Manage IT policies, procedures, and compliance to maintain a secure and efficient environment, adhering to industry standards and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy that supports business growth.
  • Mentor and guide IT team members, helping them develop technical and professional skills to support the organizations needs.
  • Provide hands-on support for critical issues and initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in leadership or management roles.
  • Extensive experience managing cloud environments, including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and enterprise systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning, prioritizing, and executing IT projects in a scaling organization.
  • Deep understanding of IT security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset for aligning IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for automation, cost optimization, and process improvement within cloud ecosystems.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365 Administration/Engineering.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to streamline IT operations.
  • Experience in budget planning and vendor management for cloud services.
