Urgently Hiring!

Family seeks live-in caregiver for senior gentleman to start right away. History of Parkinson's disease and recent return home from cardiac surgery. Will require a warm and caring individual who is familiar with both as well as with assisting with mobility support. Must be familiar with preparing nutritious and specialized diet per client specific needs.

The successful candidate will be provided with room/board by the family and report to the family regarding duties and expectations.

Duties:

• Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring health
• Meal preparation – dysphagia soft diet
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and emotional support
• Communication with family and health professionals as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work as a live-in caregiver
• Proficient in English: both written and verbal
  • Ability to speak Tagalog required
• Valid CPR/First Aid training
• Valid Vulnerable Sector clearance from police
• Healthcare/Medical background required
• Active driver's license preferred

Wages and Hours to be determined by family, according to provincial standards.
