We are seeking a highly capable Auto Parts Manager to take full ownership of the operations of our aftermarket auto parts store in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing all aspects of an auto parts store, strong knowledge of the GTA market, and hands-on proficiency with industry-specific software such as Epicor, Partswatch, and NextPart. Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Lead all store operations, including inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and sales.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve high performance and service standards.
Software Utilization: Manage daily tasks using aftermarket parts management systems such as Epicor, Partswatch, NextPart, or similar platforms.
Brand & Product Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aftermarket auto parts brands commonly sold in the GTA.
Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers, providing expert guidance and problem resolution.
Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers for timely procurement and optimal stock levels.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, workplace safety, and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and leverage insights to optimize store performance.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience: 3–5 years of proven experience managing an aftermarket auto parts store, ideally in the GTA.Software Proficiency: Expertise with auto parts management software (Epicor, Partswatch, NextPart, or equivalents).Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the major aftermarket auto parts brands and supply landscape in Toronto.
Leadership: Effective people management, coaching, and team-building skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving ability and a detail-oriented approach to operations.
Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
