About the Job

As our Shipping Coordinator, you'll be key to ensuring our products reach customers around the world. You'll work closely with our Customer Services, Order Fulfillment, and Production teams, helping to prepare all shipments on time and according to our customers' needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in coordinating logistics, managing essential documentation, and ensuring smooth operations in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll learn the ropes of efficient global shipping, including understanding vital concepts like Incoterms.

Key Criteria

  • Education: Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or an Office Administration certificate is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or administrative role, demonstrating your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders thrive in a professional work environment.
  • Any prior experience with administrative tasks or in a shipping-related role is an asset.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international shipping concepts, including a basic understanding or willingness to learn incoterms, is valuable.
  • Experience within the oil, gas, or engineering industries is also a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with many different teams.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, ready to learn new processes & systems like our ERP software.

This role will be based in Edmonton - Canada (6891-67th Street NW Edmonton Alberta T6B 3M3)
