Management

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead EDI implementation and integration projects.

    • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resources.

    • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.

  2. Technical Oversight:

    • Understand EDI standards (like ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and formats.

    • Work with mapping tools, translators, and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN).

    • Oversee EDI system design, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.

  3. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external partners.

    • Ensure proper documentation and communication of all EDI processes.

  4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure EDI solutions comply with industry standards and partner requirements.

    • Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve errors.

  5. Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor EDI analysts or developers.

    • Provide training and support as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

  • Familiarity with EDI mapping tools (Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, GXS, etc.).

  • Good understanding of supply chain, logistics, or healthcare domains depending on the industry.

  • Project management certifications (PMP, Prince2) are a plus.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
