Flex work location

Located at our Head Office, 19295 25th Avenue, Surrey V3S 3X1, this is a full-time permanent position. Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. After probation, hybrid work (3 in-office, up to 2 remote) may be offered, subject to manager approval based on schedule, role, and performance. Occasional after-hours availability required for upgrades and outages.

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Digital Solutions Manager to lead our team and deliver impactful results. This role will report directly to the VP of Digital Solutions and Technology and will focus on optimising digital solutions, ensuring seamless integration, and leading technical strategy across multiple platforms.

What to expect in the role

  • 50% Technical Leadership
    • Strong, proactive leader who inspires trust and collaboration across the business, empowering teams to exceed realistic yet challenging expectations.
    • Establish strong internal connections and drive an excellent customer journey.
    • Support the team with coaching, code reviews, technical best practices and mentoring.
    • Ensure SOPs, best practices, security requirements & documentation processes are followed.
    • Manage helpdesk prioritisation and performance of the team.
    • Support the VP with technical roadmaps.
    • Liaison with vendors as required.
  • 50% Technical Contribution
    • Contribute technically at a senior level, including creation and support of helpdesk support tickets, data integrations, reports, data marts, performance tuning, API development, automation and AI efforts.
    • Lead training sessions for staff on digital technology platforms.
    • Main point of contact and communications for any outages or downtime.
    • Continuous efforts to learn the core ERP, CRM, eCommerce and WMS systems.
    • Produce system and training documentation as required.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in hybrid SaaS and on-premise environments.

Ideal candidate profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in systems integration, SQL Server, APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • 2+ years of experience leading technical teams.
  • Experience in the distribution industry is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, reporting tools, M365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, eCommerce platforms, helpdesk tools, APIs, ERP, and WMS systems.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms, low-code/no-code tools, and automation.
  • Understanding of security protocols and best practices.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong alignment with company values and a collaborative leadership style.
  • Skilled in leading meetings, project planning, and cross-functional communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and change management skills.
  • Capable of managing conflict professionally while fostering strong relationships.

All team members, including managers, must maintain a RCMP background security clearance.
