key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Front Desk
Greet guests warmly as they arrive and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Handle check-ins, admissions, and explain rules and safety guidelines
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
Assist with party bookings, schedule management, and general customer inquiries
Process payments, refunds, and handle cash/register duties accurately
Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness of all play areas, party rooms, and common spaces
Perform regular sanitation of high-touch surfaces and play equipment
Ensure washrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times
Restock supplies such as cleaning products, paper towels, and guest materials
Birthday Parties & Events
Set up and decorate party rooms according to booking details
Greet and assist party families and guests, ensuring a smooth experience
Serve food and drinks, help manage the timeline, and keep the space clean
Lead games or group activities when applicable
Clean and reset the party room promptly for the next group
Waivers & Safety
Ensure all guests have signed liability waivers before entry
Guide customers through the waiver system if needed
Monitor play areas to ensure children follow safety rules
Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor promptly
Sales & Upselling
Promote additional services such as party packages, memberships, or snacks
Upsell add-ons like party upgrades, merchandise, or return visit discounts
Meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs when applicable
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education a plus)
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or child-focused environments preferred
CPR & First Aid (Level C or Level 2) certificate, or willingness to obtain
Enjoys working with children and families
Outgoing, friendly, and patient personality
Reliable, punctual, and strong attention to detail
Comfortable with physical work (standing, cleaning, moving tables/chairs)
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work weekends and evenings
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
Standing for long periods and active movement throughout the shift
