POSITION OVERVIEW:

The duties of the Electrical Wiring/Assembler include reading and interpreting internally generated wiring diagrams and schematics, understanding functions of components and install them, use appropriate wires, terminations, and labels, to fully wire all the components within a custom control panels.

This role will also assist in electrical assembly and with training could assist in minor electrical testing and commissioning.

This position works Afternoon Shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.

Identify components based on bills of material and inspect for defects prior to use.

Electrical Tasks: Select the correct wire location, gauge, and type, and determine proper wire routing and lengths. Install and assemble wire harnesses and wire tags. Wire electrical panel components according to provided diagrams and schematics. Install various components (e.g., terminal blocks, fuses, switches) into control panels.

Perform quality inspections to ensure wiring accuracy and correct component selection. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues at the wiring diagram and schematic level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma

SKILLS:

MECHANICAL APTITUDE: Basic understanding of mechanical concepts relevant to electrical tasks.

MATHEMATICAL SKILL: Basic math skill to perform and understand measurements, calculations, and requirements.

TOOL PROFICIENCY: Ability to correctly use required tools for work including hand tools, small power tools, and other electrical equipment.

TECHNICAL APTITUDE: Ability to read blueprints and read, interpret and follow technical instructions.

Physical ability to lift 30-50lbs and work in an environment that requires standing, bending, lifting, and other physical movement.
