Key Requirements:
- Synthesizing complex engineering data (drawings, schematics, BOMs, specs) into accurate, accessible written content
- Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
- Creating and editing illustrations using CAD models or technical photography
- Preparing documents for customer submission, tracking revisions, and incorporating feedback
- Maintaining organized document archives and ensuring compliance with client standards and customer requirements
- Supporting proposals with documentation estimates and contributing to continuous process improvement
- An educational background in Engineering, Robotics or a related discipline
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in the nuclear industry or a similarly regulated technical field
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to interview SMEs and translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control logic
- Familiarity with nuclear plant operations, maintenance procedures, tooling standards, and regulatory terminology
