We're Hiring: Project Coordinator - Civil Construction
Location: Acheson, AB , Full-Time (On-Site + Field) , Monday to Friday, 8-10 hrs/day
Expected Start Date: August 23, 2025
What You'll Do:
Support Project Managers and field teams with documentation, equipment/material coordination, and administrative tasks
Perform quantity take-offs, draft using relevant software, manage contracts, bids, RFIs, and change orders
Track time entries, review and process foreman timesheets, and cost-code for payroll and LEM generation
Prepare documents for progress billing and maintain accurate project records
Administer new hire/transfer/demobilization paperwork and maintain employee records
Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure all compliance documents are in place for site access
Review subcontractor LEMs and submit for client approval as needed
Maintain databases, reports, and project-related correspondence
Respond to client and employee inquiries on-site
Ensure adherence to internal processes, safety protocols, and project controls
Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques
Perform other project-related duties as assigned
What You Bring:
Post-secondary education in Civil Construction (required)
1+ year experience in project coordination or project management (preferred)
Knowledge of road building, project tracking, and field documentation
Valid CSTS 2020 certification
Class 5 driver's license with a clean 3-year abstract
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
Additional Details:
Must be able to work out of town if required
Must be a Permanent Canadian Resident or Citizen
3-month probation with benefits included
