Our company won a large planting job that starts mid-end of August, for the city of Milton. The job consists of planting roughly 25,000 small, plug sized aquatic plants within 3 ponds, and another 10,000 small shrubs around the ponds above the water. The small shrubs will most likely be planted next spring, so our focus is getting the aquatic planting done on time.

The ponds will be dewatered to allow pond dredging activities and planting. Our planting window will be sufficient, but limited in that we can't dewater the ponds indefinitely.

We're looking for experienced landscapers, preferably who are familiar with commercial landscaping, and understand the difference between working for residential clients, and city contracts. Working for cities comes with a lot of contractual obligations that cannot be overlooked, and will be scrutinized by the city to ensure things are being done according to the contract.

Candidates must have means of getting to the site themselves. Candidates should be able to plant effectively, understanding basic horticultural practices and planting methods. Workers should be able to work consistently and at a good pace to keep the schedule moving as planned. Most importantly, just looking for good people, who are down to work hard, do it right, have some fun and go home after a good days work.
