We are a Waterloo family based business operating for over 50 years providing various business services to the trucking industry.
We are looking for a Controller for our internal corporate accounting needs.
Requires post-secondary education and 5 years full cycle accounting experience.
Responsibilities will include day to day bookkeeping, monitoring 8 bank accounts, recording and reconciling AR and AP, managing all aspects of the general ledger.
Payroll for 25 salaried employees.
Filing of various government reports.
Preparation of monthly financial statements for all 4 companies and reporting directly to the VP.
Preparation of year-end papers for external accountant. Must have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills to be able to meet deadlines.
Must be experienced with Sage. Heavy use of Excel. Caseware experience an asset.
