Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Driller to join our team in the underground diamond drilling industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drilling operations and a strong mechanical aptitude, especially with horizontal drilling techniques. As a Driller, you will play a key role in operating advanced drilling equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring that projects are executed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate drilling rigs and associated equipment.

  • Monitor and optimize drilling parameters to ensure peak performance and productivity.

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.

  • Accurately record drilling activity, including depth, pressure, and other operational data.

  • Address mechanical issues promptly during operations to maintain smooth drilling operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, consistently promoting a safe working environment.

  • Support the training and mentoring of junior crew members, providing guidance on best practices and equipment operation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in underground drilling operations, with a focus on diamond drilling.

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve equipment issues on the spot.

  • Experience with horizontal drilling techniques is highly preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to work in challenging outdoor and underground environments while adhering to strict safety standards.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving team goals.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as required by project needs.

Additional Perks:

  • Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.
