We are seeking an Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join its commercial team. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Sales & Business Development to manage and grow long-term relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will be good at working with important clients, solving problems, and offering the right solutions. This role helps support and grow the business over time. The position is based in Greater Toronto Area, with occasional work required and travel to other regional facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating across departments to ensure service excellence. This is a high-impact role ideal for an individual with experience in customer account management, operations, and sales support within the Consumer Goods Industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture specific customer relationships within core operations.
  • Conduct weekly internal customer calls to address issues and ensure operational alignment.
  • Prepare and present customer KPI reports with actionable insights.
  • Support the VP of Sales in managing existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, planning, finance) to fulfill client needs.
  • Maintain and review customer pricing tools for accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively resolve issues.
  • Use internal systems to evaluate relationship profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct research into new market opportunities across various Consumer Goods segments.
  • Track and present customer continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in account management, customer service, or operations in the Consumer Goods Industry.
  • Familiarity with Canadian mass retail channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex customer relationships.

  • High proficiency in data analysis and reporting (advanced Excel required).
  • Excellent presentation and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
