The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning meals, procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment, production of meals, supervising and coordinating the work of the kitchen personnel, and keeping with all Hard Rock quality standards. This role is responsible for enhancing the food product that is presented to guests, making changes to respond to marketplace and guest needs and recommending changes in food product as a result of market research.

- Oversee Noodle Bar Kitchen Operations while maintaining presence during peak traffic periods.
- Responsible for creating and updating menus and is proficient in the Costing/Financial aspect of menus
- Plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food in a safe, sanitary, cost effective manner.
- Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment which meets/exceeds standards and regulations.
- Able to effectively pitch and present infor1mation in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organization.
- Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment and work areas. Use all equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and standards.
- Monitor and control product, supply and labour costs using established methods to meet goals. Report any hazards, damage, or needed repairs.
- Works with the management team, keeping them informed of all pertinent activities and issues.
- Conducts Sound Check meetings with team members, shares information about incentive programs, new products and procedures, special events, etc.
- Works as a team player, helping all team members to complete the required activities that ensure we blow away Guest expectations.
- Perform duties in accordance with company standards, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications
Ability To:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a college or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Minimum of 5 Years of prior work experience in an Asian Restaurant
- Prior experience in pre-opening and opening properties
- Knowledge of Cantonese, Szechuan, Pan Pacific Cuisine is required
- Experience on the Wok is required
- Ability to effectively deal with internal customers and team members, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
Skills:
- Relevant experience in the hospitality industry inclusive of restaurant culinary operations
- Possess all local food management and safety certifications
- Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for food
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of business acumen and common sense
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills through ability to diagnose and implement solutions
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
