ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Full Time)
Native Healing Centre ($24/hr.)
The Prince George Native Friendship Centre requires an Administrative Assistant which is a full-time position within the Native Healing Centre and operates as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
DUTIES
The range of duties is varied, but at a minimum will include:
- Provide clerical support services to Native Healing Centre Staff
- General reception duties including answering phone calls, filing, faxing, photocopying
- Coordination of Pro Bono Law Clinic
- Office coordination
- Keep up to date on PGNFC and other community programs that are related to health and wellness
- Will support the team who provides holistic support services to primarily Indigenous people
QUALIFICATIONS·
- Minimum of 2 years experience within an office setting
- Computer literacy and experience with databases
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and support skills
- Knowledge of suicide intervention
- Ability to work in a team setting and work independently
- Criminal record check is a requirement
