Our client located in the Surrey area are looking to hire an experienced Industrial Electrician and we are conducting immediate interviews.

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• 6am to 2:30pm• Overtime opportunitiesWhat are the responsibilities?
• Perform Preventative and Predictive maintenance on all production/recycling equipment and systems, facilities, etc as per PM schedule
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve site electrical and mechanical breakdowns, provide safe, temporary solutions if needed to support continuous processing.
• Complete inspections of plant equipment and building infrastructure as part of the PM program.
• Accurately communicate feedback, complete/supply documentation and updates on electrical and mechanical issues, work completed, and resolutions.
• Execute assigned preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, process work orders effectively ensuring the adherence to established processes and protocols.
• Utilize CMMS to accurately document maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
• Provide support during plant upgrades, installations, and other projects, including electrical lockouts, isolations, and facility connections.
• Collaborate closely with site leadership and operations to ensure effectiveness of maintenance program, improve/enhance processes as required.
What are the requirements?
• Must have a Red Seal Electrician trade certification.
• Minimum two years of industrial experience with PLCs (Siemens preferred), VFDs, HMI, actuated valves/louvers with position feedback, and AC motors.
• 2+ years of instrumentation experience (pressure/temperature/flow transmitters)
• Experience in Electrical Gear systems is an asset
• 2+ years of relevant industrial maintenance exposure, including Preventative/Predictive maintenance, corrective work, temporary solutions, survey and verification of engineering details.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office required, preference for candidates with strong CMMS experience
