Were a locally owned, community-focused grocery store in Salmo, and were looking for a dependable, full-time Bakery/Deli Clerkto join our team. If you're highly organized, comfortable juggling shifting priorities, and enjoy independent work, this could be a great fit.

This role isfocused on bakery productionfinishing premium par-baked items, keeping displays full and fresh, and creating a warm, welcoming food space. You'll also support deli and front-end operations as needed, including slicing meats, running the till, and cooking rotisserie chickens.

What Youll Do:

• Parbake breads, pastries, and other products using a commercial oven
• Prepare deli items like sliced meats, cheeses, fresh food, and daily specials
• Package and label baked and deli items clearly and attractively
• Keep displays stocked by wrapping, rotating, and reordering as needed
• Cook rotisserie chickens and monitor for quality
• Place regular orders to maintain inventory
• Operate a till and assist customers with purchases and questions
• Maintain a clean, food-safe work area at all times
• Work with the store manager and wider team
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet throughout your shift

What Were Looking For:

• Highly organized and comfortable managing shifting priorities
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Works well independently and follows through on tasks
• Friendly, reliable, and takes pride in their work
• Able to safely use equipment (training provided)
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Experience in a similar setting is a strong asset
  

Wages are competitive, and we may offer a higher rate for candidates with relevant experience.
