The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join our team in Coquitlam, BC on a 3-month contract. As the Warranty Administrator you will be responsible for managing warranty claims and warranty-related tasks such as processing credit memos, registrations, inquiries, and maintaining warranty documents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Warranty Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the WIP and following up on outstanding credit memos
  • Disputing claim settlements with manufacturers
  • Processing credit memos
  • Registering new equipment warranties with vendors
  • Monitoring the CRM and ERP systems
  • Providing the Sales team and external customers with warranty packages
  • Reviewing and confirming correct Lease DocuSign packages for the Lease department
  • Receiving inspections
  • Attaining and submitting required in-service inspection reports
  • Providing information regarding warranty to customers, Service employees, Service Technicians, and Sales staff
  • Overseeing and controlling the cost of warranty repairs
  • Coordinating freight and logistics for parts returns

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 1 to 2 years of prior work experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Mechanical experience considered a strong asset
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $55,000 per year based on experience.

This is a remote role based in Coquitlam, BC. This position is a 3-month contract.
