Our client is seeking a Test Lead to join their R&D environment. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of software across multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on API testing, automation, and ERP interface validation—especially in SAP S/4HANA environments used within the pharmaceutical sector.

You'll bring your testing expertise, leadership skills, and deep understanding of regulated environments to manage testing efforts, maintain traceability, and ensure high standards of quality using tools like Jira, Postman, and modern test automation frameworks.

This is a fully REMOTE role!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead testing initiatives across complex R&D software projects.

• Design and execute test strategies, including API, interface, and automated testing.

• Manage test plans, cases, and traceability in test management tools (e.g., Jira).

• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless integration testing with SAP S/4HANA and related systems.

• Maintain high-quality documentation and enforce compliance with industry regulations.

What You Bring

• 5–10 years of hands-on software testing and QA experience, with proven leadership in testing teams or projects.

• Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalents.

• Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, RestAssured, or Cypress.

• Solid understanding of test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr).

• Experience testing SAP S/4HANA and ERP integrations within enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with regulated industries—pharma experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

• Willingness to travel to New Jersey, occasionally (light travel expected).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing integrations with systems such as eLIMS, MES, labeling, or planning tools.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

• Programming/scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation.

• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
