Territory Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Territory Manager to join our amazing team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, your primary role will be to act as an ambassador for our portfolio of brands that includes Bench Brewing and Henderson Brewing craft beers, as well as Niagara Cider Company ciders. With a dedicated focus on the on-premise sales channel, you will strengthen existing relationships and build new business with bar and restaurant managers and staff across the 'Golden Horseshoe' territory which includes Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Effectively set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals required to deliver quarterly sales targets.
• Plan and execute efficient daily route plans for sales calls.
• Develop new business for the entire portfolio by increasing distribution and sales volume across licensees within the geographic territory.
• Leverage our data and information systems in building fact-based selling approaches to influence decision makers.
• Leverage marketing and trade tools to increase visibility and advocacy of our portfolio of brands in accounts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and successful execution of consumer activations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Must reside within the territory, and must own a car (with full access to the vehicle) and maintain a valid driver's license with clear abstract.
• A track record of success in a similar role (selling products into restaurants or bars) preferred.
• Post-secondary education (Primary Focus on Business, Sales and/or Marketing) preferred.
• Strong product knowledge with an understanding and passion for Ontario beverage alcohol industry would be an asset
• Account / Territory Management experience
• Experience in the designated territory considered an asset
• Proven experience or certification in sales and negotiation
• Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Smart Serve
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
• Solid understanding of MS Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work occasional flexible hours to accommodate for client availability.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

Located in the heart of Niagara's wine country, the Bench Brewing is located on the site of the historic Maple Grove Public School in Lincoln, Ontario. Our brewery is a place for our guests to relax, learn, and experience our amazing craft beverages.
The Bench Brewing Campus sits across eight beautiful acres of farmland and features our popular tap and tasting room, beer garden, our very own hops yard and Fieldstone at Bench Event Venue. Our property houses a beautiful Church built in 1938 that has been converted to the Fieldstone at Bench facility. It has an indoor seating capacity of approximately 80 guests and during the warmer seasons the events lawn can seat up to 225 guests.

Henderson believes in making innovative and approachable beers that reflect the stories and culture of Toronto.
In April 2023, Bench Brewing acquired the Niagara Cider Company whose goal is to craft dry, flavorful, and balanced ciders using the bounty of all the fruits that Niagara and Ontario have to offer. Niagara Cider has quickly become a top selling Ontario Craft Cider brand as well as winning multiple awards for their family of ciders.
