We are currently seeking an experienced Continental Chef to bring creativity, precision, and leadership to our high-volume banquet kitchen.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Continental Chef with a proven background in high-end banquet service or fine dining. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in similar environments, demonstrates culinary leadership, and has a passion for global flavors. In this role, you will help execute large-scale events, maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation, and support the growth of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality Continental cuisine in line with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines

  • Oversee food preparation and execution for a variety of banquet events, ensuring consistency and timeliness

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant kitchen environment in accordance with HACCP and food safety standards

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership on menu planning and recipe development

  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and support efforts to control food costs and reduce waste

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development and teamwork

  • Uphold and exceed guest expectations by ensuring consistent culinary excellence and presentation

  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic in a high-pressure kitchen environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a banquet kitchen, fine dining restaurant, or luxury hotel setting

  • Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine, international flavor profiles, and current culinary trends

  • Red Seal Certification or equivalent, and valid Food Safety Certification (required)

  • Proven ability to work in high-volume environments while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Experience in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using kitchen management systems

  • Physically fit and capable of performing all duties including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items

  • A team player with a positive, self-motivated attitude and leadership potential
