Today we are excited to announce that we are looking for an Intermediate Accountantto join our high performing Accounting team. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to take ownership of financial responsibilities tied to complex construction project portfolios.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be deeply embedded in the financial side of transformative real estate projects. Youll play a key role in tracking and reporting on project budgets, supporting monthly close cycles, and providing timely and accurate financial data that helps drive smart business decisions.

In addition to the duties expected of an intermediate level accounting professional, you will be responsible to:
- Perform accurate preparation and data entry of various journal entries.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, company credit cards, mortgage interest and cash distributions, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile sub-ledgers and prepare supporting documentation for internal reviews and audits.
- Assist with intercompany allocations, cost tracking, and capital expenditure monitoring.Create invoices, tract and record collections, and prepare inter-company billings, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Support month-end / quarter-end close processes and year end audits, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Gather and organize required documents for Senior Accountant and Controller.
- Provide additional support as needed, such as collecting financial data, assisting with ad hoc reporting, and supporting the broader team objectives.
Qualifications & SkillsSee above specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
