The Opportunity

This 6-month contract is ideal for a self-sufficient recruiter with media or agency hiring experience who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up. Your focus will be on sourcing and early-stage vetting, ensuring our talent pipeline is strong, engaged, and moving efficiently. Youll partner directly with hiring managers, juggling multiple open roles (mix of full-time, part-time and contractor positions) to help us fast-track hiring and build a best-in-class team.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Hiring Managers:
    • Understand role requirements and refine job descriptions to ensure maximum impact and engagement.
    • Provide compensation insights and recommendations based on up-to-date market compensation data, salary bands and candidate expectations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and pace of hiring
  • Sourcing, Outreach and Screening:
    • Identify posting and sourcing strategies based on role and ideal candidate profile.
    • Lead sourcing and candidate outreach across multiple open roles simultaneously
    • Conduct resume reviews and initial screenings to identify high-potential candidates
    • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, with an emphasis on front-end funnel activity
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Track candidates, pipeline activity, and metrics using our ATS (BambooHR)
    • Identify hiring bottlenecks and suggest ways to improve process and timelines
  • Employer Brand and Experience:
    • Contribute to improving our employer brand presence and candidate experience
  • Communication:
    • Provide continuous updates and insights on hiring progress

Requirements

We want to make sure you will succeed and here are the qualifications that will set you up for success!

  • Relevant Experience and Knowledge:
    • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within media, marketing, digital, or agency environments
    • Proven experience in a start-up or small business environment
    • Strong experience sourcing and screening candidates across a variety of roles and levels, including media buyers, growth marketers, creative strategists, content creators (especially UGC), email marketers and data analysts. Bonus if you also have experience sourcing for business development/sales talent focused on performance marketing.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open roles efficiently and independently
    • Knowledge of up-to-date market compensation data and candidate expectations
  • Tool Proficiency:
    • Proficiency with several sourcing platforms and methods.
    • Familiarity with BambooHR as an ATS
