Job DescriptionOsler is seeking a full-time general obstetrician and gynaecologist at our Brampton Civic Hospital site. The job includes very busy obstetric and gynaecology services. Research and academic experience are valuable assets.
Accountabilities:
- Provide antenatal services in the community
- Share of the on-call obstetrics and gynaecology schedules at the hospital
About the Program
Brampton Civic Hospital's Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department serves a large community with more than 5,000 deliveries per year.
Qualifications- Accredited Medical Degree (or equivalent)
- Certification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
- License to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Expected completion of fellowship of minimal invasive gynaecology will be preferential
- Laparoscopic and/or urogynaecology fellowship and/or experience with pelvic surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of attendance, punctuality, and accountability
- Models behaviour that aligns with Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Expertise in clinical teaching or clinical research preferred for those interested in education or research
