Job Description

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Cardiology Technician will work closely with the cardiologists and staff.

Accountabilities:

  • Day-to-day performance of cardiac diagnostics testing
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized cardiology technician program
  • Current registration with Cardiology Technologists Association of Ontario/Canadian Association of Cardiology Technologists required
  • Recent experience in all diagnostic cardiology modalities (holter monitoring and scanning, event recording, stress testing, ECG and ambulatory blood pressure)
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)
  • Working knowledge of the Meditech information system (ancillary application is preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-focused care required
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, responsible and accountable individual required
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
  • Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration

Additional Information

Hours: Currently Days, 8 and 12 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

SALARY:
Minimum: $36.55 per hour
Maximum: $41.40 per hour
