Job DescriptionWilliam Osler's partnership with the New Grad Guarantee will offer you the opportunity to work in a clinical unit as a part of the nursing team according to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and William Osler Health System. You will be provided with an orientation that will provide you with the needed education and skills certification for the clinical area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement nursing care plans for your patients and their families, report on patient progress and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. The knowledge and skills you have obtained and practiced during your clinical experiences as a student will be applied to your practice as a New Graduate Nurse to support the delivery of excellence in patient-focused care, at William Osler Health System.
Qualifications- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Consolidation on Acute Medicine/Surgical Units
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills required
- Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Basic Cardiac Life Support required
- Ability to set priorities
- Critical thinking and organizational skills required
- Motivated, positive and respecting of others
- Quality oriented, patient-focused caregiver
- Open to innovation and change
- Must demonstrate Osler Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation, Collaboration
- May be required to travel between and work at all hospital locations
Additional Information
Hours: Currently Days/Nights, 8/12 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Minimum: $35.29 per hour
Maximum: $38.16 per hour
