As an approved Medavie Blue Cross provider under the Veterans Independence Program, we deliver high-quality care in the comfort of our client's homes. We're looking for caring and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing team on a flexible, casual basis.

Position Overview:

We are seeking Casual PSWs who are available to pick up occasional 12-hour home care shifts (day or overnight). This is a great opportunity for individuals who prefer flexibility in their schedule or are looking to supplement their income.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in clients health and well-being.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized PSW program or equivalent certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in home care, long-term care, or hospital settings (preferred).
• Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within last 6 months)
• Proof of immunizations (including TB and COVID-19 vaccinations)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
