About the Role:

As a Conveyor Belt Fabricator, you will receive ongoing training to, safely and effectively, fabricate, install and/or repair Forbo's lightweight conveyor belts, using a variety of hand tools and lightweight industrial equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a fabrication or installation role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to operate cutting tools safely and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification in fabrication or a related field.
  • Experience with CNC machinery and automated fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand installation requirements.
  • Utilize cutting tools and other equipment to fabricate components as needed for installation.
  • Assemble and install various non-durable goods products, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of installed products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve installation challenges in a timely manner.
