Title: Sales /Marketing Manager & Outside Sales

Position Summary

A well-established manufacturing company operating in both Canada and the US. We are seeking a results-driven, strategic, and hands-on Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our revenue growth initiatives, expand market presence, and enhance our brand position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building materials, fabrication, construction products, fenestration or manufacturingpreferably within the metal product sector. This leadership role combines sales strategy, marketing execution, and customer relationship management to drive sustainable growth and support long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead and support a team of outside sales representatives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and custom project markets.
  • Oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate closely with production and operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Marketing Management

  • Design and implement marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and boost product visibility.
  • Oversee all digital marketing activities including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and social media engagement.
  • Manage the creation of marketing assets such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and trade show materials as needed.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform campaign strategy and product positioning.
  • Lead brand development initiatives and ensure message consistency across all marketing platforms.

Customer & Channel Development

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Act as the primary liaison for key accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage CRM tools to track leads, monitor performance, and analyze customer engagement.
  • Provide insights to improve customer experience, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience, preferably in manufacturing, building materials, or construction.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, market development, and strong leader possessing a team orientated approach
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS tools).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate KPIs and adjust strategy for ROI optimization.
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic individual with a proven track record of accountability and results
