We're looking for a Vehicle Inventory Clerk to support our busy sales and administrative operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory controls and ensuring smooth coordination between departments. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Create and distribute a daily used vehicle inventory list for the sales department
- Accurately enter trade-ins, auction units, and used purchases into our accounting systems and prepare vehicle pouches
- Cross-check information for accuracy and compliance with dealership policies and procedures
- Prepare wholesale deal packages, ensure recall checks are completed, and coordinate vehicle cleaning
- Generate purchase orders and facilitate communication between sales and service departments for wholesale vehicle work
- Email wholesale bills of sale to vendors and coordinate vehicle transportation logistics
- Track all incoming used vehicles and ensure required safety inspections are scheduled upon arrival
- Post related payables and internal work orders into the accounting system
- Perform data entry, light filing, and other office tasks as needed
- Provide backup coverage for front desk reception
- Participate in cross-training to support other administrative roles as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexible and quick to adjust priorities as business needs evolve
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Previous automotive industry or dealership experience is an asset but not required
