MacDonald Search Group is currently seeking on their behalf for a Data Analyst to support major strategic initiatives and continuous experimentation efforts involving a massive data lake. In this role, you will leverage data to generate actionable insights that inform decisions across Marketing, Retail Operations, and Merchandising.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Partner with stakeholders to define business objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and hypotheses for experimentation
• Build and automate data pipelines using SQL
• Analyze complex datasets with Python to uncover trends and support business cases
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize insights and performance metrics
• Contribute to the development of large-scale analytics workflows and identify new business opportunities
• Support high-impact data and analytics projects across multiple business units

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• Degree in a STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering)
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science roles
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and hypothesis-driven analysis
• Strong understanding of advanced analytics techniques and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools is an asset
• Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence
• A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
