MSP Solutions Consultant - Technical Customer Engagement & Sales
Job Description:

In this hybrid role, you'll combine technical insight with a proactive, people-first approach to help customers solve their IT challenges. Whether it's identifying new managed service opportunities, responding to hardware needs, or re-engaging existing clients, you'll play a key role in helping businesses succeed while growing with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Proactively connect with existing and new clients to understand their current needs and goals.
- Build lasting relationships by providing relevant insights, recommendations, and timely follow-ups.
- Act as a trusted advisor who listens first and provides value-driven solutions.
Sales with a Service Mindset
- Identify and close opportunities for Managed IT Services (MSP) and hardware solutions without high-pressure tactics.
- Tailor solutions based on real business challenges, not just quotas.
- Negotiate terms and follow through with accurate quotes and order execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical teams to develop and present custom IT solutions.
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and opportunities using CRM tools.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Background
- 2+ years in customer-facing roles such as technical sales, account management, or MSP customer support.
- Familiarity with IT hardware, networks, and managed services; certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
- A diploma or degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Skills & Personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you're a people person with a tech brain.
- A consultative approach to uncovering needs and offering smart, relevant solutions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple conversations and projects.
