Help North American Cities Grow Smarter - We're Hiring a Business Development Leader

Citygreen is expanding across Eastern North America—and we're looking for a Business Development Manager based in the GTA to help lead the way.

This is not a typical sales role. It's a strategic opportunity for someone who thrives on building genuine relationships, understands the technical language of infrastructure and urban design, and wants to help deliver greener, more resilient cities.

In this role, you will:

  • Support large-scale urban landscape and green infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with specifiers, contractors, and public decision-makers
  • Manage long sales cycles with clarity, care, and technical depth
  • Use HubSpot CRM to sharpen your pipeline and build scalable systems

You're likely a fit if you:

  • Know your way around construction, landscape architecture, or civil infrastructure
  • Bring a consultative mindset - more listener than closer
  • Are looking to own and grow a high-potential region
  • Use tools and data to create real traction

Why Join Citygreen?

We exist to solve real urban challenges (heat, flooding, canopy decline) through science-backed, design-friendly systems. We're scaling fast across North America and offer meaningful autonomy, generous profit-sharing, and a values-driven culture that lets good people do great work.

Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Background in construction, landscaping, or infrastructure (highly preferred).
  • Confidence with consultative selling, value selling, and negotiating at C-level.
  • Strong CRM user (HubSpot proficiency is a plus).
  • Based in Greater Toronto Area with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Comfortable working independently, staying objective in high-pressure environments, and handling rejection with resilience.
